Violence against Women
Members took to the streets of Northampton to raise awareness through their collective voices against sexual violence and harassment. They were proud to show their solidarity and support for women everywhere as part of the Reclaim the Night.
Songs, chants, drumming and speeches all added to a great march for a very important issue for us all.

Federation Chairman, Chris Carr and Vice Chairman Jean McLeish were invited to take part in discussions looking at ways to prevent violence against women and girls.
Last Sunday 8 December, it was great to host Women and Equalities Minister Anneliese Dodds MP at Delapré Abbey for a crucial discussion on tackling violence against women and girls. Thanks to our local charities - NRC, Northamptonshire Domestic Abuse Service , C2C Social Action , Northamptonshire Federation of WIs and Age UK Northamptonshire - for sharing your frontline experiences. Together we're working to make Northampton safer.
