Making the most of the WI Learning Hub
The WI Learning Hub provides WI members flexible access to education, covering a wide range of topics.
There are a number of courses focusing on digital and technology which can benefit members for both personal use, but also performing WI duties. Some courses are “live” and others can be accessed anytime, all you have to do is register for them through the learning hub. As a WI member most courses are free. Currently there are courses covering a wide range of subjects such as – Facebook, TikTok, making better use of your smartphone, using email, office programmes, staying in touch on-line and keeping safe online.
So if you’re looking to raise the profile of your WI, communicate with your members or produce newsletters, have a look at the Learning Hub https://learninghub.thewi.org.uk I’m sure you will find something of interes
DENMAN NEWS - THE WI LEARNING HUB - March 2024
Christine Farmer (Preston Capes Daventry WI)
The Denman Learning Hub is now up and running! Some of you have had problems logging in and getting your free courses. You need to login using the email address associated with your ‘My WI’ . You will be then recognized as a member and the course will be free. Although Denman at Home had been running for the last few years, the Learning Hub is in its infancy, and more courses will be added. It is nice to know that three or four of the staff who worked at Denman College are still with NFWI, administrating the hub. If there is anything you would like to see added, please either email me or the Learning Hub direct.
