Annual Meeting

The Monthly meeting business was carried out before leading into the Annual Meeting agenda.

Our banner for next year's celebrations county wide, was unveiled and admired by all the members. The banner is being kept under wraps for the time being but thanks were given to Margaret de Banke for making such a wonderful job of it.

The outing idea for next summer was put to the members and more details will follow shortly on a more suitable  page on this website.

The Annual Meeting then took place. The Minutes from last year had been distributed to members prior to the meeting in order that time could be saved.  Reports from this year were read out and agreed upon, financial statement explained and agreed, and other necessary items dealt with.

No new committee members were forthcoming so the committee will stay the same with the exception of one member who resigned.

The new programme for 2017/18 was revealed and was well received as being varied and interesting.
The meeting ended with lots of friendly chatter and a buffet.
