Social Evening

The business part of the evening was completed and members were invited to help themselves to the lovely buffet. This had been made up of plates of food donated by the members themselves so a lovely selection of tasty goodies were on show. 

The photo show and video of Old Northampton sadly would not play on the Village Hall laptop so somewhat disappointing. However a few photos from an event in the early 2000s at a garden party were shown to members and they delighted in recognising old faces of friends no longer with us.

Some of the committee had put together a selection of archives from the WI collection to show to members and two other members brought personal memorabilia to share. These created discussion and chat amongst the members.
