Christmas Party

We enjoyed our joint party with Blisworth WI in 2015 so in 2016 we are inviting them to join us at Milton Malsor Village Hall.

So far we have secured the services of Lincoln Noel who will entertain us with his amazing repertoire of piano music and wit. He will be a fantastic addition to our evening and we hope that both WIs will have an amazing evening.

Review of the evening

40 members from the WIs enjoyed a festive fun evening together with plenty of food, drink and good music. Milton Malsor WI committee provided the savoury course, drinks and entertainment, with members donating raffle prizes which were made into hampers.Blisworth WI kindly donated desserts for everyone.

Lincoln Noel played at various points during the evening, including carol singing, which included an hilarious rendition of the 12 Days of Christmas. Each table was given a 'day' to sing. Some groups made the most of their moment in the spotlight to stand up and act out their subjects to great amusement from the rest of the room. This was followed by Jerusalem.

Members are thanked for their contributions to the evening plus our two barmen, Colin and Charlie who got into the spirit of things and kept us hydrated!
