Annual Meeting

Our Annual Meeting is a Celebration of our 90th Birthday and special refreshments, provided by the committee, will be served at the culmination of the Business during social time.

Members were greeted with a glass of fizz and dish of nibbles to celebrate our 90th Birthday. An informal  celebratory photograph was taken to commemorate the event.

The business of the October meeting was taken care of before the business of the Annual Meeting. 
The competition 'Annual Event' was won jointly by Paula Neal with her Harvest Basket and Brenda Binks for her Red Nose! 

The Annual meeting went smoothly with reports read by Paula for the events and meetings which have taken place during the year, Brenda for her last President's report, Shirley for the Financial report and Lorraine for the Competitions and Future Programme. She confirmed that the winner of the Competitions Cup was Paula Neal with a score of 78 points. Small consolation prizes were given to Brenda Binks, Sheila Charlton and Kathryn Hayward for nearly always taking part and making a sterling effort. Lorraine encouraged all members to join in next year.

After the formalities were over, Brenda invited everyone to partake in food given and prepared by the committee. A cupcake display in the form of a '90' was shared so that every member could have one and those not able to attend on the night were taken one the next day.
