Why I became a W.I. member - Marion

When I moved to a new house in a rural village, I visited the local pub one evening where I started chatting to a very nice lady.  She invited me to go to the W.I. at their next meeting.  I really enjoyed the speaker, the chatting to very friendly ladies and also the welcome cup of tea at the end of the evening.  I have now been a member for 26 years, except for a few years when I was college.  We have some very exciting outings, meals out, talks by various people and organisations
