Programme of events
All events are at the Glapthorn Village Hall starting at 7.30pm, unless stated otherwise. Visitors are always welcome. For events not held at the village hall, please contact us before the event to enable us to make sufficient bookings - an additional charge may apply to those events.
Wednesday 1st February
Talk: ‘‘The Norman Cross Embroidery’’ – Olive Main
An in depth talk and power point presentation on the Norman Cross Prisoner of War Camp and the Norman Cross Embroidery, which will be on display to view.

Talk: “Watercolours and paintings” – Sarah Pendred
Sarah will share her passion for painting and will talk to us about her exhibitions and how she teaches people to paint.

Talk: “The delicious delights of Donalulu Cooks”
Local artisan baker Donna Thomas will talk on the success of her baking business and how she bakes using the best locally sourced ingredients to enable her to trade at local farmers markets. Donna will bring samples to taste and purchase

Ladies Fashion Evening and Pamper Session
Join us for this fabulous evening of pampering, fashion and fun. Heidi Nemeth of Neil's Yard will be demonstrating these marvellous organic products with mini hand massages and pamper sessions. Top this treat with a display of beautiful fashion accessories and handbags that will be available for you try and to purchase!

Talk: “The world of Frocks” – Karen Shanks
Karen from Frocks in Thrapston will delight us with her talk on her amazing business, her glamorous collections and how she works with ladies of all ages to ensure they are dressed to impress at their special events. Gowns, accessories and jewellery will all be on display for us to browse after this thoroughly interesting talk.
