About Us

Cotswold WI was formed in 1971 and this year we will celebrate our 46th birthday. Apart from our regular monthly  meetings we also have a monthly book group where a variety of books are discussed; craft evenings where members  share their expertise and we organise visits to local places of interest, walks and other social events.

Last year we organised watercolour classes for our members, and this year we have had visits to Billing Shopping Village, Northampton Guildhall, and Gallone's Ice Cream Factory - where the highlight was the ice cream at the end of the tour. We also invited other WIs to our Fish and Chip Supper which was followed by a Beetle Drive.

For our Birthday Party we are celebrated the Queen's 90th Birthday with a celebration tea, complete with red, white and blue table decorations, royal quiz and other entertainments.

At Christmas our members donated new toys to EVE, the women's refuge, for Christmas presents for the children.
