Three Excellent Speakers
It was an honour to welcome our National Chair, Jeryl Stone, to our AGM once again. Jeryl gave a passionate and informative talk on the future of the WI. Things don't stand still - change is inevitable -and National has held extensive consultation with members to ensure their needs are met in the future. Lots of good things to look forward to in 2026!

Jodie Mutch, ably assisted by her daughter Eva, gave us a very informative talk on Maggie's charity and their new centre which is being officially opened in Northampton next week.
The new centre sited in the grounds of Northampton General Hospital will be providing support for all adult cancer patients and their families. The service is free to everyone and no referral from NHS is needed.

Thank you to our Guest Speaker at our AGM, Lucy Lewis, for a superb talk on her life in the Army and her new role in becoming the University of Cambridge’s first woman marshal in its 809-year history.
Lucy's talk was not only informative and entertaining but was full of good humour that had us rocking in our seats!
