Remembrance Sunday

"When you go home,
Tell them of us and say,
For their tomorrow,
We gave our today"

.

Kettering Kosmos WI Having made a felt poppy wreath the WI were invited to join the Mayor's Procession to the memorial and attend a reception after the service. The wreath, laid by Joint President, Mrs Denise Waghorn, became very wet during the storm but a major advantage was that it also became very heavy, so didn't blow away like the other wreaths!

Irchester WI put up  poppies at Irchester memorial.
